About Us
Side Pony is an independent recording studio owned and operated by brothers Jake and Gus DeTar of DeTar Music Studios. We specialize in creating quality music by catering to the individual artists personal aesthetic. We do everything from original music for film to full length album production.
Side Pony creates personal scores to match any film makers needs. We have created scores for brands such as Vans, Skull Candy, Target, Make a Wish, AirBnB and National Geographic. Our compositions have gained international recognition and have been featured in Festivals such as Canes, Banff, Santa Barbara International and San Francisco International. For live tracking, we offer open session times to the public as well as discounted rates to artists we produce. It is our goal to bring rad music to the public.
